Cummins NTA855-G1B Diesel Engine – Technical Data

Operating Conditions

The published performance data is based on ISO 3046 standard reference conditions of 100 kPa barometric pressure, 25°C ambient temperature and 30% relative humidity. The engine operates with fuel corresponding to Grade No. 2-D per ASTM D975.

The engine may operate at 1500 rpm or 1800 rpm up to 5,000 ft (1,525 m) altitude and 104°F (40°C) ambient temperature without power derating. For sustained operation above these conditions, power derating should be applied according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
