Introduction

The GENLITEC POWER® GPC525D5 and GPC525S5 are 525kVA Cummins diesel generator sets designed to provide reliable three-phase power for industrial, commercial, construction, mining, infrastructure and standby power applications. The generator sets are rated at 420kW/525kVA for prime power and 460kW/575kVA for standby power at 50Hz and 1500 RPM.

Powered by the Cummins KTAA19-G5 six-cylinder, 19-liter diesel engine, the GPC525 series combines proven heavy-duty engine technology with a 420kW/525kVA generator output. The KTAA19-G5 features a turbocharged and air-to-air aftercooled air intake system, Cummins PT fuel system, four-stroke in-line six-cylinder configuration and water-cooled design. At 50Hz and 1500 RPM, the engine provides up to 470kW prime power and 555kW standby power.

The GPC525 generator set is available in both open and silent configurations. The GPC525D5 open type is suitable for generator rooms and installations where easy maintenance and ventilation are required, while the GPC525S5 silent type features a weatherproof sound-attenuated enclosure for outdoor and noise-sensitive applications. An 800L fuel tank is provided for extended operating periods, while ATS, synchronization, remote monitoring and other options are available for different project requirements.
