800kVA Cummins KTA38-G2B diesel generator set GPC800D5 open type and GPC800S5 silent type

Introduction

The GENLITEC POWER® GPC800D5 and GPC800S5 are 800kVA Cummins diesel generator sets designed to provide reliable three-phase power for industrial, commercial, construction, mining, infrastructure and standby power applications. The generator sets are rated at 640kW/800kVA for prime power and 700kW/880kVA for standby power at 50Hz, with 1500 RPM operation.

Powered by the Cummins KTA38-G2B 12-cylinder, 38-liter diesel engine, the GPC800 series combines high engine capacity with a 640kW/800kVA alternator output. The Cummins KTA38-G2B uses a turbocharged, water/air-cooled aspiration system, Cummins PT fuel pump, electronic governor and a 14.5:1 compression ratio. At 50Hz and 1500 RPM, the engine provides 711kW rated power and 790kW standby power, providing suitable engine capacity for the rated generator set output.

The GPC800 generator set is available in both open and silent configurations. The GPC800D5 open type is suitable for generator rooms and installations where easy maintenance and ventilation are required, while the GPC800S5 silent type features a weatherproof sound-attenuated enclosure for outdoor and noise-sensitive applications. A 1200L fuel tank is provided for extended operating periods, while ATS, synchronization, remote monitoring and other options are available for different project requirements.
