Introduction
The GENLITEC POWER® GPC500D5-I and GPC500S5-I are 500kVA Cummins diesel generator sets designed to provide reliable three-phase power for industrial, commercial, construction, mining, infrastructure and standby power applications. The generator sets are rated at 400kW/500kVA for prime power and 440kW/550kVA for standby power at 50Hz, with 1500 RPM operation.
Powered by the Cummins QSZ13-G10 six-cylinder, 13-liter diesel engine, the GPC500 series combines high engine capacity with a 400kW/500kVA alternator output. The Cummins QSZ13-G10 features turbocharged and charge air cooled technology, a Cummins XPI fuel system, electronic governor and water-cooled design. At 50Hz and 1500 RPM, the QSZ13-G10 provides approximately 463kW prime engine output and 509kW standby engine output, providing adequate engine capacity for the rated generator set output.
The GPC500 generator set is available in both open and silent configurations. The GPC500D5-I open type is suitable for generator rooms and installations where easy maintenance and ventilation are required, while the GPC500S5-I silent type features a weatherproof sound-attenuated enclosure for outdoor and noise-sensitive applications. A 750L fuel tank is provided for extended operating periods, while ATS, synchronization, remote monitoring and other options are available for different project requirements.
