Introduction
The GENLITEC POWER® GPC1000D5 and GPC1000S5 are 1000kVA Cummins diesel generator sets designed to provide reliable three-phase power for industrial, commercial, construction, mining, infrastructure and standby power applications. The generator sets are rated at 800kW/1000kVA for prime power and 880kW/1100kVA for standby power at 50Hz, with 1500 RPM operation.
Powered by the Cummins KTA38-G5 V-12, 38-liter diesel engine, the GPC1000 series combines high engine capacity with an 800kW/1000kVA alternator output. The Cummins KTA38-G5 features a turbocharged and water/air cooling system, Cummins PT Pump fuel system and EFC electronic governor. At 50Hz and 1500 RPM, the engine provides 880kW rated power and 970kW standby power, providing suitable engine capacity for the rated generator set output.
The GPC1000 generator set is available in both open and silent configurations. The GPC1000D5 open type is suitable for generator rooms and installations where easy maintenance and ventilation are required, while the GPC1000S5 silent type features a weatherproof sound-attenuated enclosure for outdoor and noise-sensitive applications. A 1000L fuel tank is provided for extended operating periods, while ATS, synchronization, remote monitoring and other options are available for different project requirements.
