Project Overview
GENLITEC POWER supplied a GPC200S6 silent diesel generator set to a manufacturing plant in Ecuador. The generator is used as a backup power source to maintain essential operations during grid power interruptions.
The project required a compact soundproof generator solution with sufficient power capacity, extended operating time, and automatic transfer capability for the factory's electrical system.
Customer Requirement
The customer needed a standby power solution for a manufacturing environment where an interruption to the utility supply could affect production and other essential electrical loads.
The main requirements included:
○ 200 kVA prime power capacity
○ Silent canopy for reduced operating noise
○ Extended fuel capacity for longer operation
○ Automatic transfer between utility and generator power
○ Remote technical support during installation
GENLITEC POWER Solution
GENLITEC POWER supplied the GPC200S6 silent diesel generator set, powered by a Cummins 6CTA8.3-G2 diesel engine and equipped with a GENLITEC 100% copper brushless alternator.
The generator set is equipped with a 520L extended fuel tank, providing increased fuel storage capacity for applications requiring longer operating periods between refueling.
To provide automatic switching between utility and generator power, a 630A Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) panel was supplied as part of the complete power solution.
