Project Overview
GENLITEC POWER has established a long-term cooperation with an experienced power, electrical and infrastructure service provider based in Samoa. The customer's business covers generator services, solar projects, optic fiber services and a wide range of electrical solutions for residential, commercial and project-based applications.
In addition to the Samoan market, the customer also serves neighboring Pacific Island markets. Through this cooperation, nearly 30 GENLITEC diesel generator sets have been used for residential buildings, offices, retail stores, commercial facilities and rental projects.
This cooperation demonstrates the flexibility of GENLITEC POWER diesel generators for different power requirements in island markets, from standby and commercial power to temporary and rental applications.
Customer & Market Background
Based in Samoa, the customer provides generator services, solar projects, optic fiber services and other electrical solutions. Its projects cover a wide range of residential, commercial and infrastructure requirements, while its business activities also extend to neighboring Pacific Island markets.
Samoa and other Pacific Island markets have distinctive power requirements due to their island geography, infrastructure and tropical operating environment. Diesel generators are commonly used where reliable standby power, temporary electricity or additional power capacity is required.
Customer Requirement
The customer required flexible diesel generator solutions suitable for different end users and project conditions across Samoa and neighboring Pacific markets. The main requirements included:
○ Residential and building standby power
○ Office and commercial power applications
○ Retail stores and shop power requirements
○ Rental and temporary power applications
○ Different generator capacities for varying electrical loads
○ Automatic transfer capability for standby applications
GENLITEC POWER Solution
GENLITEC POWER provided a range of diesel generator sets configured for different power requirements and applications. The generator sets used in these projects are mainly powered by Cummins and SDEC diesel engines, with suitable alternators, control systems and silent or open-type enclosures selected according to individual project requirements.
Most of the generator sets were also equipped with Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) panels, providing automatic transfer between utility and generator power for applications requiring standby operation.
This combination of flexible generator configurations and automatic transfer equipment allows the customer to select suitable GENLITEC power solutions for buildings, commercial facilities, retail locations and rental projects.
Applications Across Different Sectors
GENLITEC diesel generators have been used across a variety of applications. For residential buildings, the generator sets can support essential loads such as lighting, electrical equipment, pumps and other building services during utility interruptions.
For offices and commercial facilities, generator sets can provide standby power for lighting, electrical equipment, communication systems and other essential loads. Retail stores and shops can also benefit from generator power for lighting, refrigeration, payment systems, security equipment and daily operations.
For rental and temporary power, the wide range of GENLITEC generator configurations allows suitable units to be selected and deployed according to project load, location and operating requirements.
Supporting Power Solutions Across the Pacific
The cooperation extends beyond Samoa, with the customer serving customers in neighboring Pacific Island markets. This provides opportunities for GENLITEC generator sets to support different types of power projects across the wider region.
By combining different generator capacities, Cummins and SDEC engine options, flexible configurations and ATS panels, GENLITEC POWER can provide practical diesel generator solutions for a broad range of island applications.
Project Result
Through ongoing cooperation with the local customer, nearly 30 GENLITEC diesel generator sets have been used across Samoa and neighboring Pacific Island markets for residential, commercial, retail, office and rental applications.
The projects demonstrate the versatility of GENLITEC POWER diesel generators and the ability to provide reliable, application-specific power solutions through local power equipment partners across the Pacific region.
